Vicky's  CA27.29 Marker Results

 

 

The first CA27.29 marker in December 2003, came in at 60 (Normal range is below 38)

Of note, the spike in October of 2004 caused an increase in Lupron injections to reduce

estrogen production. Later in July of 2005, the spike prompted surgery to remove the

ovaries. 

The numbers had remained fairly consistent until October 2009. The result of 52.7 in 

Jan 2010 prompted the doctor to order a PET scan.  

Mar 2010 the number came back at 78.3

Apr 27 2010 the number hit 127.6

Aug 10 2010 the number is up to 159

Dec 2010 the number is 163.8  (Faslodex now doubled)

Mar 2011 marker is down a bit to 152.9 (-6.7% since Dec 2010)

Jun 2011 marker is up to 216 from 152.9 (41% increase) 

Aug 2011 marker up a bit to 234.7 (8.6% increase)

Feb 2012 disease moves to liver driving marker to 523

Aug 2012 marker drops down to 213 from 523 in Feb 2012 (Xeloda chemo pill working)

Jan 2013 marker at 239

May 2013 marker drops to 205

Aug 2013 marker at 225

Nov 2013 marker at 224

Apr 2014 marker at 156
